Cinema Capitol will present the thriller TENET from Friday, October 30 through Monday, November 2.

Written and directed by Academy Award-winner Christopher Nolan, TENET tells the story of a secret agent known simply as “The Protagonist.” He embarks on a dangerous, time-bending mission to prevent the start of World War III. TENET stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Kenneth Branagh, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Warners Bros. originally scheduled TENET for a July release. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was first delayed to July and subsequently to August. The movie was released internationally on August 26 and finally moved to select cities in the United States on September 3.

REELVIEWS writes “It’s among the director’s most ambitious efforts and is a match for his most narratively complicated screenplays.” ROLLING STONE comments that the movie is “Pure, ravishing cinema from Nolan who offers a dizzying, delirious ride for lockdown audiences yearning to gather before the biggest screen…”

TENET will play at Cinema Capitol each day from Friday, October 30 through Monday, November 2. Show times are Friday and Saturday at 3:45 and 7:00, Sunday at 12:20 and 3:40, and Monday at 7:00.

Friday’s 3:45 and Sunday’s 12:20 show times will include captions for the hearing-impaired. All patrons are required to wear masks for the duration of the movie, unless eating and/or drinking. Parties will be socially-distanced at least 6 feet apart.

Since the Cinema is only admitting 25 percent of its capacity, it is recommended that patrons purchase tickets in advance. These can be purchased at or by calling 315-337-6277. Tickets are $8.00 for adults; $7.00 for students and military, and $6.00 for Capitol “Friends.”

TENET runs 150 minutes and is rated PG-13 (for intense sequences of violence and action, some suggestive references and brief strong language).
