A TUBA CHRISTMAS will return to the Capitol Theatre (220 W. Dominick Street, Rome) on Tuesday, December 17 at 7:00 PM. The annual performance will support, and is held in conjunction with, the New York State School for the Deaf.
The festive concert consists of classic holiday tunes played on the tuba, euphonium, and other brass instruments by members of the local community.
The New York State School for the Deaf Handbell Choir and Sign Choir will accompany the band by signing some of their favorite songs. Meanwhile, baked goods will be raffled off to raise funds for Rome’s New York State School for the Deaf.
The concert is free and open to the public. Registration for those who would like to perform begins at 4:00 PM and requires a $10.00 admission fee. Music is provided for registrants.
