CAT VIDEO FEST MOVIE STARTS AT 1PM

Rome Capitol Theatre, 220 West Dominick Street, Rome, presents CatVideoFest 2024 on Sunday, October 13 at 1:00pm.  Prior to the movie, several cat displays with cats and kittens will be in the Capitol Theatre lobby when the doors open at 12:00

CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos, and classic internet powerhouses. Each year the Capitol Arts Complex partners with a cat-focused charity near the theater, with proceeds from the show helping folks to keep looking out for our furry friends. This year’s recipient is the Humane Society of Rome.

In addition to the Cat Video Fest film, local cat owners who have submitted photos and/or videos of their own cats can watch them on the Capitol screen before the main feature. Other features in the preshow include: kitten football, the witch “Honeysuckle Hagg” will share facts about the mysteries of black cats. and Cat Rap Videos will feature local cat fans rapping about their cats.

The event will be hosted by Brenda Brown and Kyla Sommerville.

Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors/students/military, $5 for Capitol Friends, and $3 for children 12 and under.
