Brought to you by the Dollar General Literacy Foundation!
This fun event will be a blast for the kiddos! September is National Literacy Month, and we’re celebrating with some special activities.
At 2:00 PM, enjoy a story time and fun book-themed craft. The new local business Keaton & Lloyd Bookshop will also be present with some great, locally-written children’s books available for purchase!
Then, at 2:30, catch the 1996 movie “Matilda,” based upon Roald Dahl’s beloved story about a young girl who uses her magical powers for good.
As always, the Concession Stand will be open with hot, buttery popcorn, ice-cold soft drinks, and a wide variety of candies.
Adults – $7.00
Seniors, Students, Military – $6.00
Capitol “Friends” – $5.00
Admission is free for children 12 and under!
To ensure the comfort of all participating, children will be required to wear masks.
“Matilda” is rated PG and runs 102 min.
