SUMMARY:Disco Biscuits
DESCRIPTION:Creative Concerts presents \nAn Evening with The Disco Biscuits \nDoors: 6pm for General Admission (5pm for VIP) \nShowtime: 7pm \nThis event is all ages \nTICKETS \nThe Disco Biscuits VIP Experience (limited!) \n– One (1) Premium Reserved show ticket in Orchestra seating \n– Early entry to each venue (6pm) + early access to merch \n– Pre-show soundcheck viewing \n– Group photo with the band \n– Collectible show ticket \n– Commemorative laminate & lanyard \n  \nThe Disco Biscuits are a band of transformation and invention. The Philadelphia-based group remains the pioneers of “Trance-Fusion” – bridging the gap between electronic dance music and jam rock – while consistently looking for new sonic boundaries to break and avenues to tell stories within. \nWith two rock operas (1998’s Hot Air Balloon / 2000’s Chemical Warfare Brigade) amongst the 8 full-length studio albums under their belt\, The Biscuits are back with their 9th studio record\, a space opera entitled “Revolution in Motion\,” to be released on March 29th\, 2024. \nReleased in 4 parts and accompanied by comic book-style 3D-animated films\, Revolution in Motion tells of an alien species set out to discover and study other life throughout the universe. After partying a little too hard and losing track of their mission\, the aliens slip through space in a wormhole\, arriving at none other than our planet Earth. Vowing to complete their mission\, the aliens set out to abduct and study humans with only The Disco Biscuits able to save their own world\, and possibly the alien’s world as well. \nWith a vast touring schedule and ever-changing live shows\, The Disco Biscuits’ soul belongs as much to marathon dance parties as it does to live improvisational journeys. They employ emerging technologies to help them create music that is 100% human although\, perhaps\, not entirely of this planet. \n

DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, November 30\n2:30 and 7:00\nAt the Rome Capitol Theatre\nHomegrown holiday feature film\, The Christmas Letter\, to be screened in a special one-day-only event at historic Rome Capitol Theatre \nThe Rome Capitol Theatre is excited to present a special screening of the fun-filled homegrown holiday feature film\, The Christmas Letter\, Saturday\, November 30th\, with showings at 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM. This special screening will give local audiences a chance to experience the excitement of seeing the Utica-Rome/Mohawk Valley area\, as well as many area residents who landed roles in the film\, featured on the big screen. \nThe Christmas Letter follows an unemployed copywriter with an inferiority complex — made worse annually by the over-the-top Christmas letter he receives from his wealthy overseas pal. His jealousy-fueled attempts to upstage his friend backfire\, however\, and take him and his family on a string of misadventures that are anything but brag-worthy. \nStarring Angus Benfield (The Keeper)\, The Christmas Letter features comedy icons Chevy Chase\, Randy Quaid\, and Brian Doyle-Murray of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation fame\, and marks the feature directorial debut of Tori Hunter. Written by Ilion native\, Michael Cunningham\, the story features as its backdrop local landmarks such as Utica City Hall\, Woods Valley Ski area in Westernville\, Gerber’s Tavern\, The Stanley Theatre\, Griffiss International Airport\, and Clinton’s Stone Presbyterian Church\, to name a few. \n“I always wanted to bring something back home.” Cunningham said. “I loved growing up here and feel like the area has so much to offer filmmakers in not only its beautiful landscapes and architecture\, but mostly its wonderful people who opened up their hearts\, homes\, and businesses to us.”

SUMMARY:Tuba Christmas
DESCRIPTION:The annual A Tuba Christmas returns to the Capitol for the 17th consecutive year! This event showcases the talents of tuba\, euphonium\, baritone\, and sousaphone players from across the region\, who perform timeless Christmas and holiday music! The show is free and open to the public. Performer registration will take place at the theater from 4:00-6:00. \nTUBACHRISTMAS® was conceived in 1974 by Harvey Phillips as a tribute to his teacher and mentor William J. Bell\, born on Christmas Day\, 1902. \nThrough the legendary William J. Bell we reflect on our heritage and honor all great artists and teachers whose legacy has given us high performance standards\, well structured pedagogy\, professional integrity\, personal values and a camaraderie envied by all other instrumentalists. \nThe first TUBACHRISTMAS® was conducted by Paul Lavalle in New York City’s Rockefeller Plaza Ice Rink on Sunday\, December 22\, 1974. Traditional Christmas music performed at the first TUBACHRISTMAS® was arranged by American composer Alec Wilder who ironically died on Christmas Eve\, 1980. \nWilder composed many solo and ensemble compositions for tuba and euphonium. He was a loyal supporter of every effort to improve the literature and public image of our chosen instruments. Through Alec Wilder\, we express our respect and gratitude to all composers who continue to embrace our instruments with their compositions and contribute to the ever-growing solo and ensemble repertoire for tuba and euphonium.

SUMMARY:Back in Black & KISStory-Two Amazing Tribute Acts To AC/DC & KISS
DESCRIPTION:BACK IN BLACK is the true AC/DC experience. There is no substitute as they have been rocking the East Coast for over 30yrs originating out of Massachusetts. With a great\nreputation\, as if they were the real thing ! This band has HIGH ENERGY\, and you feel it right away and it will have you coming back for more every time.\nBack in Black is armed with an impressive song list with over 80 of your favorite songs – Something for everyone! Featuring Tony Sitler on lead vocals as Brian Johnson & Bon Scott\, Miguel Goncalves on bass as Cliff Williams\, Bobby Sitler on guitar as Malcolm Young\, Steve NaNola on Drums as Phil Rudd\, And Dan Molkenthin on guitar as Angus Young . These guys are truly amazing on stage with an unbeatable performance act.PLUS a 2009 Harley Davidson – once owned by Brian Johnson lead singer of AC/DC – Autographed on the gas tank by Brian Johnson himself ! \nThe Edgier Springer model was a cult favorite among Harley traditionalists when released in late 2008 for the 2009 model year. If you’re a Cross Bones fan and an\nAC/DC fan\, You’ll LOVE THIS BIKE! \nKISSTORY a true tribute to KISS – Starring Vinny Dawson the DEMON has been rocking the USA since 1996. \nFounded & created by Vinny Dawson back in the 90’s. Vinny may have started out as playing ACE for the first 14yrs of Kisstory\, however he became very frustrated in trying to find a good DEMON for the band\, He thought to himself it would be easier to find a good Ace than a DEMON. . . He then decided he could play it better than anyone else\nhimself\, and without a doubt he was right..We were left with the \nKISSTORY you all know and love today. \nKisstory’s band members are all truly amazing artists\, they are exact replicas of KISS down to the costume\, props\, and of course the sound.\nYou have Vinny Dawson as the DEMON\, Kevin Conrad as FOX\, Dave Bariteau as STARCHILD\, and Jason Taft as SPACEMAN. Perfection with this band is all the way down to the makeup taking about 60-90 min\, their performance is amazing. All band members are true die hard fans of KISS and all feel a true connection to the person they represent. So much like the real deal right down to spitting out flames\, and blood oozing out of the DEMONS mouth! This is a show you won’t want to miss\, If you love KISS\, You will love KISSTORY. It will be like you were back in the 80’s rocking it at a KISS concert all over again. \nTICKETS
