Local Filmmakers:

We’re looking for locally produced short films about Murder, Madness, Mayhem and Monsters!?! It doesn't have to be zombies or Halloween themed, just seasonal. In case you didn't notice, this isn't the season where the sounds on the rooftop are coming from reindeer!

Novice? Pro? Big budget? No budget? It doesn't matter. Just make something and submit it! Remember to keep it under 4 minutes-the shorter the better. We'll be selecting entries to show on the evening of Friday, October 26 along with a very special full length horror feature: the new Nicolas Cage movie Mandy!

There's no entry fee. The deadline is October 21.

Don't wait for the deadline to get your film to us! We have a great incentive for you to enter your film early! When we receive films for the showcase, early entries could screen in the preshow of our AAAHctober horror movies-and we have several (Rocky Horror Picture Show, Amityville, The House on Sorority Row, and more).

The Showcase will screen on Friday, October 26 and will be followed by the movie Mandy (starring Nicolas Cage) on it's opening night!
