The first event counting down to our 95th Anniversary is an event we’ve hosted before and are aiming to make even more exciting this year:
an early morning event dedicated to the announcement of the Oscar nominations – properly titled this year as:
“Wake up with the Stars: An Oscar Nominations Watch Party!”
Coincidentally, this year also marks the 95th Academy Awards!
That’s right, on the morning of Tuesday, January 24th from 7:00 – 9:00 the cinema will be OPEN and alive for you to debate all of your nomination predictions, compare them with the official Capitol predictions, and watch the nominations come in LIVE. Superofficial will supply complimentary coffee and pastries. There will also be a contest to predict the nominees and win prizes.
You may be asking: what are the official Capitol predictions? Well, for the first time ever, the Capitol will be announcing their official Oscar predictions to be nominated on this very webpage!
