RisingStars showcase: Echoes of Ellis Island

ECHOES OF ELLIS ISLAND, tells the story of immigrants who came to America through Ellis Island between its opening in 1892 and its closing in 1953. Through story, song and folk dance, the cast brings to life the histories of those who emigrated to the US, as seen through the eyes of a tour group visiting the present-day Ellis Island museum.

The production will be of particular interest to Central NY families because so many have ancestors who passed through Ellis Island. The play is suitable for the whole family, although it may not be of interest to pre-school age children.

Tickets available online, at the Capitol Box Office, or at the door the night of the show.
