The Rocky Horror Picture Show In The Courtyard

R-strong sexual content including violence and language

Join us at Cinema Capitol for our annual presentation of a the all-singing (and singing and singing) all-dancing classic: THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW. But this year, it’ll be OUTDOORS in the Capitol Courtyard under the stars! We’ll be going for a socially-distanced party vibe where you and the Rocky Horror fans in your social bubble can gather together and share pizza, a few drinks, enjoy some Rocky Horror themed music before the show and, finally, enjoy the classic film while time warping it up throughout! For $15 you will be granted admission, free pizza, one drink token (to be used at either the concession stand, the Character Coffee Mobile Cart or our booze supplying partner TBA) as well as a limited COVID-19 appropriate kit of interactivity! The Rocky Horror Picture Show is beloved for its rich history of audience participation and we usually put together big, extravagant kits of interactive goodies, but this year we are going to have to do things a bit differently. In 2020 we will have limited kits (with items of interactivity that do not pose COVID related complications) which will be included with your ticket. With that said, we will be strictly prohibiting the throwing and sharing of items. We must ensure a safe and healthy screening opportunity and we will with our amazing patrons’ cooperation! For the uninitiated: In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a mad scientist of sorts. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” Rating: R Runtime: 100 Minutes Language: English Venue: Cinema Capitol Format: Digital Print
