Cartoon Madness – Looney Tunes Goes to War!

The Capitol Theatre’s annual CARTOON MADNESS event returns! This Mid-Winter School Break, enjoy your favorite characters in 12 classic cartoons from Warner Bros.’ LOONEY TUNES/MERRY MELODIES series. This year will showcase some of the best cartoons produced during the Second World War, a time of great creativity at the Warner Bros. studio!

This year’s cartoons will be:

HERR MEETS HARE (January 13, 1945; Friz Freleng)

SQUAWKING HAWK (August 8, 1942; Chuck Jones)

HORTON HATCHES THE EGG (April 11, 1942; Robert Clampett)

ODORABLE KITTY (January 6, 1945; Chuck Jones)

TOM, TURK AND DAFFY (February 12, 1944; Chuck Jones)

ANY BONDS TODAY (April 3, 1942; Robert Clampett)

PRIVATE SNAFU – GRIPES (July 5, 1943; Friz Freleng)

HARE CONDITIONED (August 11, 1945; Chuck Jones)

The program will be presented Monday, February 16, through Saturday, February 21, at 3:00 PM, with an additional 7:00 PM show on Saturday and will run approx. 105 minutes total [including one intermission]
