The Capitol Theatre will present two shows of classic cartoons from Fleischer Studios, featuring such characters as Betty Boop, Popeye the Sailor, and more.
The first is a family matinee at 3:00 pm and will feature selections specifically designed for families. The cartoons, some in black and white and some in color, were made at the famed Fleischer Studios in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. The recently restored cartoons will be seen in digital presentations directly from Fabulous Fleischer Cartoons Restored.
