Sponsoring Capitolfest

Each second weekend of August, hundreds of film lovers congregate in the small town of Rome, NY for a festival unlike any other. Presenting some of the rarest silent and early talkie films in a newly-restored 1928 movie palace, Capitolfest aims to re-create the movie-going experience of the early 20 th century. This leisurely, approachable festival is enjoyed by seasoned film historians and casual audiences alike, and generates approximately $450,000 into the local economy each year.

If your business is interested in supporting historic preservation while also reaching an enthusiastic audience, look no further. Capitolfest attendees are eager to support businesses which support their favorite annual event!
