The Rome, Capitol Theatre Summerstage 2024 announces auditions for their hilarious summer musical something rotten. auditions will be held June 9 and 10th in the rehearsal room behind the Capitol Theatre. Auditions will begin at 6 PM. Those auditioning will be taught and asked to sing a portion of a song from the show and should be familiar with the basic songs of the show. Auditions are open to people, 14 years and older. There will also be a choreography audition.

 

Those auditioning should wear loose clothing and hard soled shoes. anyone with tap experience should bring their tap shoes. The show will be presented July 11 12th and 13th. Something rotten is directed by Peter Loftus with musical direction by Karen Corilgliano And Patrick St Thomas is the choreographer. Those wishing to help backstage in any capacity are encourage to sign up during the auditions.
