The Rome Arts Hall of Fame is pleased to announce that it will induct six new inductees to the class of 2024 in a public ceremony Sunday, May 5, 2024, beginning at 4:00 pm in the Capitol Theatre. A performance by Rome Free Academy’s show choir Rhapsody will open the program. Individual plaques for current members will be displayed in the Capitol’s outer lobby. Each plaque contains a picture of the honoree and a brief biography.

The Rome Arts Hall of Fame, starting in 2005, honors individuals who have a significant involvement in the literary, performing, or visual arts and a strong connection to the city of Rome. The Rome Arts Hall of Fame provides the opportunity to remember past contributors to the arts, to celebrate current outstanding artists, and to inspire young people in future artistic endeavors. The class of 2024 is the seventeenth group to be inducted to the Rome Arts Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony for the 2024 class will be held Sunday, May 5, 2024 beginning at 4:00 pm at the Capitol Theatre. Refreshments will be served following the induction ceremony.
